On 18th December 2024, Prottasha II joined the nation in celebrating International Migrants Day and National Expatriates’ Day. Across Bangladesh, Prottasha II staff collaborated with the Government and relevant organisations to honour our nation-building migrants. This flagship project, funded by the European Union and co-financed and implemented by BRAC, focuses on ensuring the sustainable reintegration of returning migrants and promoting safe, orderly, and regular migration.
আন্তর্জাতিক অভিবাসী দিবস ও জাতীয় প্রবাসী দিবস-২০২৪ উপলক্ষ্যে রাজধানীসহ সারা দেশে মেলা, আলোচনা সভা ও র্যালিসহ নানা আয়োজনে অংশ নিয়েছে ইউরোপীয় ইউনিয়ন ও ব্র্যাকের যৌথ অর্থায়নে বাস্তবায়িত ইমপ্রুভড সাসটেইনেবল রিইন্ট্রিগ্রেশন অব বাংলাদেশি রিটার্নি মাইগ্রেন্টস (প্রত্যাশা-২) প্রকল্পের কর্মীরা। এছাড়া সরকারের নেতৃত্বে ঢাকার শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে আগত প্রবাসীদেরও শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছে তারা।
